Briere and Bryz are both still Flyers right now technically.

Unless they just give him for free which would save Vancouver from buying him out idk what else that could mean.

Could you imagine if they buyout one terrible contract just to turn around and trade assets for an equally terrible contract?

I don't see any situation where Vanvouver just hands him over for free. If they were that desperate then they would have moved him to Toronto at the trade deadline when there was legit assets on the table.

Philly would be a great team for Luongo, really don't want to see him go there

It tells me the dumb GM is going to buy him out. He could have sent him to Toronto for some assets, but thought he could do better. It's moves like this that lead me to believe Vancouver's GM is an idiot. Then again, I'm fine with Luongo going to Philly. Have no problem with this whatsoever. We know his issues in the play-offs.

Luongo probably would want a longer term...$4M is about right for a goalie getting there in age.

i cant see Lu going anywhere but Florida if he's bought out, unless the offer is somewhere in the 12 year 64M range..
